Helping an established insurance business find new energy and clearer direction. 

Seguros Tranquilidade is one of the largest insurers in the Portuguese market with a comprehensive and specialized insurance offer for individuals and companies.

The merger with fellow insurance brand Açoreana, presented the opportunity to refresh the look and feel of an increasingly institutional and dated brand and to better leverage the size of the new combined agent network.

Building together a responsible way of life

Working with Libson based consultancy Kayak and other specialist partners, we totally transformed the way the business looks, talks and feels about itself. A new brand idea of ‘building together a responsible way of life’ encourages a closer relationship between agent and client. A relationship which highlights risks, suggests actions, and allows customers more control over their future. This idea has provided fresh impetus for growth throughout the business.

The new logo, consisting of 13 shades of green, is designed to communicate closeness to Tranquilidade’s community of customers. The refreshed look and feel, feels fresh, clean and agile and communicates scope and inclusivity.

 The project covered multiple touchpoints of the business, including new digital platforms and apps. The majority of Tranquilidade’s business is carried out through a large network of agent run shops. The exterior and interior of these shops was also a major focus of the rebrand.

 

We want to know more from you

The project also included a television and radio advertising campaign to launch the new brand. Working with Showoff Lisbon, we created a series of ‘vox pop’ style films. Participants expressed their insurance concerns using the platform ‘What’s on Portugal’s mind’. The campaign featured the strapline ‘we want to know more from you’.
